Schuylkill Valley Nature Center Temporary Campsite Shelter

The design competition called for a temporary campsite shelter that could be easily deployed at various locations on the Schuylkill Valley Nature Center site to accommodate campers. The shelter has been designed using repurposed wood shipping pallets, and precast curb stops to create a modular structure that can be assembled in multiple configurations and easily broken down and transported to different sites on the nature center grounds. Colored acrylic sleeping pods can be placed into the shipping pallet coursing or cantilevered from the stacked structure.
