Municipal Pier 9 Feasibility Study

Concealed behind Pier 9’s dilapidated cladding is a magnificent, voluminous, light-filled steel armature. The project investigated technical and financial aspects of the reuse strategy, and documented Pier 9’s remarkable heritage and its extraordinary potential for a future as a public-serving and revenue-generating destination on Philadelphia’s Delaware River waterfront.

Alfred Dragani completed the project while an architect and senior designer at Bohlin Cywinski Jackson.
